  • Do you offer any free services?

    Yes, we offer free wrapping of your items upon request. We also provide free assembly and disassembly services as part of our moving package.

  • Are there any hidden fees in your pricing?

    No, we pride ourselves on transparency. There are no hidden fees in our pricing. The rates provided upfront are what you will be charged.

  • What are your hourly rates for moving services?

    Our standard rate is $149 per hour for our moving services. This rate includes the time from when our crew arrives at your location until the completion of your move.

  • What are the charges for long-distance moves?

    For long-distance moves, we require full reimbursement for gas expenses in addition to our standard hourly rate and a $2 per mile driving fee. This ensures that all travel expenses are covered.

  • Do you offer services for those who just need moving labor?

    Yes, we provide moving labor services at a rate of $100 per hour. This is ideal for customers who may already have their transportation but need help with the physical aspects of moving.

  • How do you ensure the protection of my property during the move?

    Our team takes great care to protect your property. We offer door and floor protection to prevent any damage during the moving process.

  • Do we have an hourly minimum?

    We have 2 hour minimum booking time for our move.

  • What forms of payment do you accept?

    We take cash, card, and all forms of payment except checks.

  • What type of insurance coverage is included in your moving services?

    We have .60c per pound insurance by default on all moves. 

  • How should I pack my TV for the move?

    For the best protection, pack your TV in its original box with the original padding if available. If the original packaging is not available, use a sturdy, size-appropriate box with ample padding like bubble wrap or foam. Ensure the TV is securely wrapped and the box is tightly sealed. Label the box as 'Fragile' to ensure careful handling.

  • Can I keep items and drawers in my dresser during the move?

    Yes, you can keep lightweight items like clothes in your dresser. However, please remove heavy, fragile, or valuable items. Secure the dresser drawers with tape to prevent them from opening during transport. For taller dressers, it may be advisable to remove the drawers and transport them separately to reduce the risk of tipping.

  • How far in advance should I book my moving service?

    We recommend booking your moving service as far in advance as possible, especially if you're moving during peak seasons like summer or at the end of the month. A general guideline is to book at least 4-6 weeks in advance. However, if you have specific timing needs or are moving on short notice, contact us, and we'll do our best to accommodate your schedule.

  • How should I pack my items in boxes for the move?

    Packing your items properly is crucial for their safety during the move. Here are some tips:

    Use the Right Size Boxes: Place heavy items, like books, in small boxes and lighter items, like linens and pillows, in bigger ones.

    Wrap Items Individually: Fragile items should be wrapped individually in packing paper or bubble wrap.

    Pack Boxes Tightly: Fill any gaps with packing paper, towels, or clothing to prevent items from moving around during transport.

    Label Each Box: Clearly label each box with its contents and the room it’s destined for. Mark boxes containing fragile items with "Fragile."

    Seal Boxes Securely: Use a heavy-duty packing tape to seal the boxes and reinforce the bottom to prevent breaking.

    Avoid Overpacking: Keep the weight of each box manageable; if it’s too heavy, it's more prone to breaking and harder to move.

    Pack Important Documents Separately: Keep important documents with you in a separate, clearly labeled box or folder.

  • Do you offer same-day moving services?

    Yes, we do offer same-day moving services based on availability. It's always best to book in advance, but we understand that sometimes last-minute needs arise. 

  • Can you move baby grand or grand pianos?

    Unfortunately, we do not move baby grand or grand pianos. These instruments require specialized handling and equipment due to their size, weight, and sensitivity.
